For employers · Confidentiality & consent

Control disclosure without losing clarity.

Define what may be published, who may receive documents and when the employer's identity may be disclosed.

01

Agree a safe public brief

The verified board initially presents an anonymous employer description. Review it for indirect identifiers as well as the organisation's name, domain and logo.

Provide an approved disclosure contact and clear permissions. Website copy does not override an employer confidentiality restriction; any conflict must be resolved before publication or a paid offer is made.

02

Understand the two disclosure milestones

For Free applications, employer identity is disclosed only after the client qualifies the candidate for interview and permits disclosure. Internal clearance and forwarding alone do not unlock it.

For Pro applications, authorised identity disclosure follows profile submission and confirmed payment. A payment never overrides missing client permission or automatically clears suitability review.

03

Respect candidate control

Forwarding requires separate approval for the specified role and documents. A Free candidate can withhold approval if they are unwilling to proceed without knowing the employer.

Share candidate records only with authorised people for the agreed purpose. Do not redistribute a CV to other roles or companies based on the original approval. Discuss conflicts, exclusions and retention through the agreed process.

Discuss the right scope

Use the existing enquiry route for a broad, non-sensitive brief. Do not send candidate or employee records at this stage.
