A Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is the top-ranking financial executive responsible for an organization's fiscal health. They oversee accounting, financial planning, risk management, and cash flow, while advising the CEO and board on strategic growth, investments, and mergers or acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:-
Strategic Financial Planning: Develops long-term financial strategies and forecasts to support business goals and drive profitability.
Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensures the accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance of all financial statements, records, and tax documentation.
Risk & Cash Flow Management: Monitors daily cash flow, manages assets, optimizes capital structures, and mitigates financial risks.
Team Leadership: Builds, mentors, and manages the accounting, finance, and auditing teams.
Stakeholder Relations: Acts as the primary financial liaison to banks, investors, auditors, and the board of directors.
