Role Overview A fast-growing deep-tech organization is looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and scale end-to-end operations across project delivery, implementation, field operations, vendor management, and operational excellence.

Reporting directly to the executive leadership, the COO will be responsible for building scalable operational systems, driving execution excellence, improving delivery predictability, and enabling sustainable business growth.

This role is ideal for an operations leader with strong experience in technology-driven organizations, startup environments, or industrial automation ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Delivery Leadership

Own end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and profitability.
Build scalable operational processes and execution frameworks.
Drive operational excellence through structured governance and PMO practices.
Improve delivery predictability, execution quality, and resource utilization.

Operational Scaling

Design scalable operating models for business expansion.
Standardize delivery processes across projects and teams.
Optimize operational efficiency while maintaining quality standards.

Vendor & Field Operations

Lead vendor performance management and strategic partnerships.
Strengthen supply chain coordination and field implementation processes.
Ensure SLA adherence and high customer satisfaction.

Governance & Process Excellence

Implement Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Manage project scope, change requests, and delivery governance.
Drive process improvements across business functions.

Business Performance

Build operational dashboards and KPI reporting.
Monitor delivery timelines, margins, utilization, and customer satisfaction.
Present operational insights to executive leadership.

Core Requirements

1218 years of operations leadership experience
Experience in technology-driven organizations
Strong background in project delivery, operations, and execution management
Experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale operations
Strong PMO, governance, and process improvement experience
Vendor management and supply chain coordination expertise
Financial understanding of margins, resource planning, and operational efficiency
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline
MBA preferred
PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
Experience in AI, Robotics, Industrial Automation, Computer Vision, Systems Integration, or Hardware-Software deployment environments
Experience working in high-growth startups or scale-up organizations

Technology Exposure

Enterprise PMO tools (ClickUp or similar)
Power BI / Looker / MIS Dashboards
