Tirtha Yatra is the world's largest temple tour operator and pilgrimage tour organization creating spiritually enriching, professionally managed and memorable pilgrimage experiences across India and international destinations.

We are looking for an accomplished Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization into its next phase of growth and institutional development.

Role Purpose The CEO will be responsible for translating the vision of the Founder–MD and Board into measurable business outcomes while building a scalable, process-driven, financially strong and customer-centric organization.
Key Responsibilities

• Own overall business performance, revenue, profitability and organizational growth.

• Translate company vision into annual business plans, budgets, KPIs and execution priorities.

• Lead Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Customer Experience and other business functions.

• Build strong departmental leadership with clear accountability and measurable performance.

• Strengthen Yatra operations through SOPs, quality controls, RCA, CAPA and risk-management systems.

• Continuously improve the end-to-end Yatri experience, particularly for senior citizens.

• Drive expansion into new pilgrimage destinations, markets and business opportunities.

• Establish financial discipline through budgeting, cost control, cash-flow management and Yatra-wise profitability.

• Develop strategic relationships with hotels, transporters, DMCs and other vendors.

• Drive technology, automation, AI and data-based decision-making across the organization.

• Build a strong leadership pipeline and succession framework.

• Ensure statutory compliance, governance and organizational risk management.

• Preserve Tirtha Yatra's culture of Seva, Respect, Discipline, Devotion, Accountability and Professional Excellence.

Candidate Profile

• 20. years of professional experience, preferably with significant senior leadership experience.

• Experience handling multiple business functions and P.L responsibility.

• Preferred background in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, Airlines, Hotels, DMCs or other large service organizations.

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/PGDM preferred.

• Strong understanding of operations, finance, customer experience and people management.

• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and crisis-management capabilities.

• Technology-oriented and comfortable using data for decision-making.

• Willingness to travel extensively as required.

The CEO should be equally comfortable discussing strategy in the boardroom and resolving operational challenges on the ground.

The CEO must respect the traditions and values of Bharat and Sanatana Dharma and understand that a pilgrimage experience is fundamentally different from conventional leisure tourism. The CEO must be a practictioner of Sanatana Dharma himself.

Commercial growth must never compromise the sanctity of pilgrimage or Tirtha Yatra's spirit of service.

The Mandate

Build Tirtha Yatra from a successful founder-led enterprise into a professionally managed, process-driven and scalable institution, capable of serving pilgrims across the world while preserving its spiritual purpose and culture.

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹4,000,000.00 per year
