About the Role

As the Vice President of SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) Channel Distribution at Mastercard, you will play a crucial role in leading growth across the distribution strategy in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) region. Key Responsibilities:

• Refine and lead the strategy for Channel Distribution in Latin America and the Caribbean to align with broader business goals and drive sustainable growth.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional regional teams to translate strategy into actionable plans and deliver desired results.

• Identify, engage, and establish relationships with decision-makers at new partners and customers within target segments.

• Drive team accountability throughout the sales lifecycle from lead qualification to contract negotiation and deal closure.

• Represent Mastercard at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility and position the company as a thought leader in SME channel distribution.

• Monitor team performance against targets, utilizing data and insights to refine strategies and optimize outcomes. Encourage 100% CRM adoption for effective information capture.

• Present progress reports to regional and global stakeholders.

• Lead and nurture a team of specialist sales professionals to cultivate a high-performance culture and drive market expansion in line with the overarching strategy.

Qualifications Required:

• In-depth understanding of channel ecosystems, including partner agreements, onboarding, and ongoing partner management.

• Experience in selling or supporting financial products tailored for small and medium-sized businesses.

• Background in sales, business development, or account management within financial services, fintech, or payments industry.

• Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

• Proven track record of executing strategies and driving alignment across cross-functional teams.

• Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to enhance revenue growth and expand market presence.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.

• Strategic thinker with a history of leading complex initiatives from concept to execution.

• Bachelors degree is a mandatory requirement.

• Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.

• Experience in building, leading, and developing high-performing teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
