Cosysta is a technology company focused on building modern software products, AI-enabled solutions, digital transformation platforms, web applications, mobile applications, and custom technology solutions for clients in India and international markets.
We are looking for a strong, hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who can take complete ownership of Cosysta’s technology function and build a scalable engineering organisation.
Role Overview
The CTO will be responsible for the overall technology strategy, software architecture, engineering quality, product development, technical delivery, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology team development at Cosysta.
This is not purely a management position. The CTO should be capable of reviewing architecture, solving difficult technical problems, guiding developers, interacting with clients, estimating projects, and ensuring successful delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnology Strategy . Leadership
• Define and execute Cosysta’s long-term technology roadmap.• Select appropriate technologies, platforms, frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and development standards.• Ensure technology decisions support scalability, security, performance, profitability, and business growth.• Evaluate emerging technologies, particularly AI, automation, cloud computing, SaaS, and modern application development.• Work closely with the CEO, CMO, CFO, and other leadership members on company strategy.Software . Product Architecture
• Design and review scalable software architectures.• Lead architecture decisions for web, mobile, SaaS, enterprise, AI and cloud-based applications.• Establish coding standards, development practices and documentation standards.• Conduct technical reviews of critical projects.• Reduce technical debt and improve maintainability of products.AI . Emerging Technologies
• Lead the integration of AI and machine learning capabilities into Cosysta products and client solutions.• Evaluate LLMs, AI APIs, RAG systems, AI agents, automation tools and related technologies.• Identify commercially viable AI products and services.• Ensure responsible, secure and cost-efficient implementation of AI systems.Engineering Team Leadership
• Build and manage a high-performing technology team.• Recruit developers, technical leads, AI engineers, QA engineers and DevOps professionals as required.• Mentor junior and senior developers.• Conduct technical interviews and skill evaluations.• Define individual and team KPIs.• Establish accountability for quality, timelines and delivery.Project . Client Delivery
• Take technical ownership of major client projects.• Participate in technical discussions with clients.• Convert business requirements into appropriate technical solutions.• Support project estimation, timelines and resource planning.• Identify technical risks before project commencement.• Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed scope, quality and deadlines.• Support the sales team during technical presentations and proposal discussions.Development . Quality Assurance
• Establish development workflows including:• Git and version-control standards• Code reviews• CI/CD• Automated testing• QA processes• Release management• Documentation• Monitor application performance and reliability.• Ensure proper testing before production releases.• Implement processes to minimise bugs and production failures.Cloud, Infrastructure . DevOps
• Oversee cloud infrastructure and deployment architecture.• Manage or supervise platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Vercel or equivalent infrastructure.• Improve deployment automation and infrastructure efficiency.• Monitor infrastructure and cloud expenditure.• Establish backup, disaster recovery and business-continuity procedures.Cybersecurity . Data Protection
• Establish security standards for Cosysta and client projects.• Ensure secure coding practices.• Protect company source code, intellectual property and customer data.• Implement access-control and credential-management policies.• Ensure appropriate security reviews for production systems.• Support compliance requirements where relevant.Technology Operations
• Maintain proper documentation for all major technology systems.• Ensure company repositories, domains, hosting, cloud accounts, APIs and technology assets remain under proper organisational control.• Maintain technology vendor relationships.• Introduce tools and automation that improve developer productivity.Expected Technology Exposure

Required Experience
• Preferably 8. years of software development / technology experience.• Strong experience in software architecture and engineering leadership.• Previous experience leading developers or technical teams.• Demonstrated experience delivering commercial software projects.• Strong understanding of modern web and cloud technologies.• Experience working directly with customers and business stakeholders.• Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making ability.Experience in a startup, software services company, SaaS company or product-development organisation will be highly valuable.

During the first three months, the CTO will be expected to:
• Conduct a complete audit of existing Cosysta technologies, source code, infrastructure and active projects.• Review the technical capabilities of the existing development team.• Establish coding, Git, QA, documentation and deployment standards.• Prepare Cosysta's technology roadmap.• Identify critical technology risks.• Recommend the required engineering team structure.• Improve project estimation and technical delivery systems.• Establish security, backup and access-control procedures.• Develop an AI integration roadmap for Cosysta products and services.• Build a scalable technology foundation capable of supporting international expansion.Reporting Structure
The CTO will be part of the Core Leadership Team of Cosysta and will work closely with:
• Chief Executive Officer / Managing Leadership• Chief Marketing Officer• Chief Financial Officer• Operations / Project Management TeamThe CTO will have authority over the company's engineering, technical architecture, development standards and technology-delivery functions.
Ideal Candidate
Cosysta needs a **builder CTO — someone who can move comfortably between boardroom discussions, client meetings, system architecture, code reviews and engineering-team mentoring.
The objective is not simply to manage developers, but to build a high-quality, scalable and commercially strong technology organisation capable of serving international clients and developing Cosysta's own technology products.
Pay: ₹21,772.93 - ₹70,116.86 per month
